Now taking in taxidermy work. Call 731-426-4602

At West Tennessee School of Taxidermy we offer beginner classes in Whitetail Deer, Fish, Birds and Life Size Small Mammals.  The Beginner Deer class is 8 days and the other 3 classes (see Classes / Rates) are 1 week long. We also offer a 5 week Full Course that includes all 4 classes plus a short course in habitat and display building.

For the experienced taxidermist, we offer advanced level classes designed to help take your work to the next level. If you're ready to start competing or maybe you're having trouble getting that blue ribbon, we now offer competition level classes that focus on helping you meet your goals.

I have over 30 years experience and have judged, competed and given seminars for many years.  I have won multiple awards at every level of competition, including:  The Breakthrough Judges Choice, The WASCO Award, VanDykes Award, Most Creative, Peoples Choice, The "Woody" Award, The McKenzie Award and multiple "Best of Category" awards.  Several of my students are competing and winning as well.

Whether you are a beginner just getting started or you are an experienced taxidermist wanting to take your work to the next level, I can help you reach your goal.

Jesse Morrison took the beginners class several years ago. He returned in February 2014 and took a class in Competition Whitetail Deer.  We would like to congratulate Jesse for winning his first blue ribbon at the Mississippi State Taxidermy Competition in April 2014, judged by well known taxidermist Bill Yox.
